JBI provides data recovery, migration and management services
and has successfully recovered data that others have categorized as
unreadable. We are able to recover data from improperly stored
discs and tapes, tapes damaged by magnetic or mechanical errors as
well as data that is media encapsulated or encrypted in any
format.
The JBI data recovery process includes the reconditioning of
sticky tapes previously considered unreadable. Custom-designed
hardware is used to read legacy magnetic tape media allowing JBI to
restore, extract, recover and decipher the data. JBI converts the
raw data into modern file formats. The conversion provides
customers an exact replica of the information from their original
media which can be accessed using current technology.
JBI's data migration services allow customers the ability to
access data that was created by now-extinct technology. Because of
the rapid evolution of data storage technology, organizations have
struggled to migrate data recorded using outdated methods. Our
process utilizes custom hardware that captures a digitized image of
the tape signal. We input the digital image into our Swahili Engine which normalizes
the data and translates it into a format usable with today's
computers. Our Swahili data management application allows the
captured data to be retrieved quickly and on-demand.
